Bangladesh English Language Teacher Trainer Program

With funding from DFAT, the Bangladesh English Language Teacher Trainer (BELTT) Program was designed to assist the Government of Bangladesh to develop the skills and capacity of teachers with the overarching goal of improving the standard of English in Bangladesh. This was done through regular classroom teaching of trainee teachers, demonstration classes, and through developing appropriate training materials and pedagogic methodologies.
Scope Global was responsible for full management of this program, which involved the recruitment and selection of specialist volunteer English teachers, development of appropriate assignments in-country in close coordination with the Government of Bangladesh, pre-departure preparation and in-country orientation for the teachers, full logistical and in-country support, program monitoring and departure and post-assignment services.
