Scope Global has been appointed to manage the Australian Government’s new Commonwealth Scholarships Program for South Australia. The $24 million program aims to boost skills and employment opportunities linked to priority industries in the state through at least 1200 scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational education and training students in South Australia.
“With our expertise in managing scholarship programs and our strong connections with tertiary institutions in South Australia, Scope Global is ideally placed to drive this federal government initiative to benefit our state,” says Christine Molitor, Chief Executive Officer.
“We’re thrilled to be able to support key sectors to fill skills gaps and to provide opportunities for existing and future workforce participants to gain new skills.”
Scope Global has more than 10 years’ experience managing scholarships programs for Australian and international students. Our scholarships management portfolio includes a range of programs such as the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s New Colombo Plan Scholarships Program and Australia Awards South and West Asia, and the Australian Department of Education and Training’s Australia Awards-Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships Program.
“With our headquarters in South Australia, the program gives us a unique opportunity to drive employment in key sectors and contribute to social and economic development in our local community.”
