Andrew is responsible for leading the delivery of Scope Global’s portfolio of international education, training and development programs located across Asia, the Pacific and Australia.
Since joining the company in 2007, Andrew has played a key role in expanding Scope Global’s scholarships, student mobility, and skills development management expertise.
Andrew believes in the power of international education. He personally experienced its transformational qualities as an international student, and started his career in international development through volunteer and program management assignments in Cambodia.
Andrew’s interest in exploring different cultures is longstanding. He left school to join the British Merchant Navy, and a couple of decades later, obtained a Master of Science in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh. More recently, he has worked to enhance the cultural competency of Scope Global through various initiatives.
Andrew is a keen cyclist, an avid reader of fiction written in English by authors whose mother tongue is not English, and enjoys living in Adelaide, which he believes is one of the world’s most livable cities.
