The Pacific Technical Assistance Mechanism Phase 2 (PACTAM2) is part of Australia’s aid program funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. PACTAM2 works in partnership with Pacific island partner organisations.
The goal of PACTAM2 is to contribute to poverty reduction in the Pacific and contribute to national development priorities. It does this by recruiting highly skilled advisers to provide technical assistance and build capacity in partner organisations.
PACTAM2 advisers work in a wide range of sectors and initiatives including health, education, governance, environment, agriculture, finance and infrastructure. Each PACTAM2 adviser position is unique, designed to reflect the development objectives of each country and to meet an identified need for technical assistance where specialist skills are not locally available.
Scope Global leads the recruitment, mobilisation and in-country support, while also providing assistance to DFAT and partner governments in the selection and management of advisers.
