Scope Global manages the Defence Cooperation Scholarship Program (DCSP) on behalf of the Australian Department of Defence. This year, students from 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific will be undertaking postgraduate coursework degrees at universities in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney and Wollongong.
Students arrived in Australia last week and are already undertaking a comprehensive training program at the Defence International Training Centre. This will help them prepare for their university studies and further develop their academic writing, reading, speaking and listening skills that will be valuable throughout their entire scholarship.
DCSP Program Manager Alison White and Program Coordinator Maya Mansour have been at the training centre this week and, along with representatives from the Department of Defence, will be delivering induction presentations and conducting interviews with 41 students who commence their program in 2017. In total, Scope Global will be managing 60 DCSP students in 2017.
We wish all the scholars well with their studies!
